A Modest Chic

A Miami night. What an awesome view...why I chose Miami? Well I had family here already and it would have been an easy transition. I came here with a job already lined up, it was a transfer from a retail store I was currently working at in Mississippi as an Assistant Manager. I had never lived in Miami, well till 4 but I don't remember much from that so living here would be totally different. But there were other objectives and goals I had in mind upon moving and it was never my intention to stay this long. Its amazing how fast they went and that its been over 10 years + now. I can't say that all of my objectives and goals have been met, they deviated a little but I've done some things that wasn't even on my mind to do. One of my main goals upon moving here was to get a better job to gain some good work experience in my field of study, Business Administration/Management.    Key West 2016 Hi, My name is Magnolia, I'm named after the state flower of Mississippi (my home state), I currently live in Miami, Florida where I've been well over 10 yrs. Miami is where I was born, we moved to MS when I was 4, I moved back to Miami in 2005 and boy has this been an interesting journey. I call this my Chapter 2, I've grown in so many ways and thought what better place to share my little journey than here. Im quite reserved and a private person but maybe my journey can help inspire others.
