Why Miami? Chapter 2

A Miami night. What an awesome view...why I chose Miami? Well I had family here already and it would have been an easy transition. I came here with a job already lined up, it was a transfer from a retail store I was currently working at in Mississippi as an Assistant Manager. I had never lived in Miami, well till 4 but I don't remember much from that so living here would be totally different. But there were other objectives and goals I had in mind upon moving and it was never my intention to stay this long. Its amazing how fast they went and that its been over 10 years + now. I can't say that all of my objectives and goals have been met, they deviated a little but I've done some things that wasn't even on my mind to do. One of my main goals upon moving here was to get a better job to gain some good work experience in my field of study, Business Administration/Management. See I was fresh out of college and good jobs are hard to find in Mississippi and I didn't have any experience and I kept hitting a dead end which left me feeling down. So when things lined up for me to be able to move here I took the leap of faith and did it. It wasn't easy by any means and many times I felt like moving back to Mississippi, the difference in these too places was pretty overwhelming at times. I ended up unemployed at one point but with Gods favor ended with something way better. So for that I'm so grateful. I couldn't even begin to tell every detail of my life journey here, it would be way to much LOL. But there's more to share... In the meantime enjoy that view.

40 year mark in 5 months

It's been awhile since I've made a post. My life has been crazy and chaotic for quite some time. This year however will be a milestone for me. Yep, I'm turning 40 in 5 months. I just recently spent some time with some girlfriends over dinner and  they shared with me their thoughts on turning 40. The conversation was motivating, exciting and scary at the same time. Since that day I've been spending alot of time thinking about this momentous milestone I'm about to embark on. And will be sharing bits and pieces on the things they've shared, and what I've been pondering on and putting in place. In the meantime anyone care to share there thoughts on turning 40?

2019 Update

Hmm, 2019 is here and I'm well into March and it's moving right along. Slow down is what I'm thinking. I honestly can not remember what happened in Jan. I guess old age is really doing a number on me, I mean 40 isn't really that old but my body and mind are saying otherwise, but I digress. Not much out of the norm is happening right now just the usual work routine and patiently waiting for summer travels. I can say that I've been more disorganized and all over the place since the year began . I really need to get it together lol. I mean normally I'm prepared, focused, organized with goals, projects, to do lists, etc for what I aspire to do and accomplish in the year. But none of that happened this year so far. I havent been motivated, creative juices aren't flowing. Just trying to pinpoint why that is, definitely something I need to pray and think on. Consider this blog kinda like my open diary just random chats,  thoughts, about life. So, how is your 2019 ...
